Graduation Day

Presley had her graduation yesterday at an MIT housing lounge. We started off the festivities with something typical of Joy School. Helping in the kitchen. The kids helped our master cake making JS mom, Christine decorate our graduation cake.
Then the kids sang some of the main Joy School songs. It is great to see Pres up there participating. In the beginning she would just stare and not sing at all.
Checking out their beautiful cake
The commencement hat toss! Wahooo!
Charlie waiting excitedly for his lunch
Proud Momma with her gal!

what fun! i am wishing i still lived in boston so bad to have max be part of that joy school! there isn't really anything like that here and preschools are so pricey. (i've been doing lots of research lately.) anyway, how cute they decorated their own cake too.

i've been in that lounge many times, and how you managed to get such cute shots in such HORRIBLE lighting (does that place even have one window!? i think not), is beyond me. you must really know how to work that camera:)

it's so strange to see kids of friends of ours who we knew in different places and who are now even somewhere completely different than where they started. i know that this is a confusing comment but it makes sense to me! (in reference to seeing pk and elijah next to each other. )
