Josh Introduces Ameo to Zija!

We went to Zija Summit 2014 this year to see years of Josh's research put to use in a new system for determining quality in essential oils. It is emotional for me to see this video because I am so proud of the work Josh has done and I know first hand all the effort and sacrifice that went into it. ;)

My Art Curriculum!

As you may know, I have been working for the past six months at a preschool/daycare as an art teacher. You can see the cool video of me here. It has ben a fabulous experience. I really loved working there. It was such a great transition from being mainly a stay at home mom. Charlie got to come to work with me and go to his own preschool class. Then I got to move around from class to class with my art history/technique lesson. The kids were so cute and always made me feel like the most fun person around! :) Since we are moving to Provo, I got a new teaching job down there (mainly working one on one with kids in reading, but I will also be doing art as the semester gets underway).

As a way to keep track of all my art lessons, I am putting together an art curriculum blog. Since I taught such young children, these lessons are very simplified, but can be adjusted for older age groups. My Town

Last Saturday Presley went to a birthday party in the penthouse of one of the MIT student housing buildings. The mom of the party asked me to take photos for her party business, but I couldn't help but marvel at the views of this place I've come to call home:

Josh and I actually came to Boston when we were engaged and had a hot date touring Fannuel Hall when his folks lived in New Hampshire.

It was a warm, gorgeous day and EVERYONE spent some part of the day outside. Lots of runners prepping for the Boston marathon ran along the river.

The party was so cute. It was a Super Mario theme. Pres had a crown to be "Princess Peach". When she got the party invite she danced around like she was the luckiest girl in the world!

The Biz

I haven't been updating around here too much. If you're wondering what the heck I have been doing with my time, (besides hanging with college buddies, carving pumpkins, spending as much time at the park with kids as possible, and snuggling on the couch with Josh) check out my photo blog.
