First Purchases

We just started giving our kids little allowances for simple chores around the house. Noah's been collecting change ever since he got a piggy bank a couple of years ago. Yesterday we dumped it out and counted all the loot. He had $35! So I took the kids to good ole Wal-mart and let them pick out some things to buy with their own money. Noah decided not to spend all of his money so he chose a smaller Transformer. Josh was so proud of that! PK chose a little camera and has been taking turns doing photo shoots with me. She loves to tell me what poses to do for the picture. Here are her poses:

She LOVES making silly faces thanks to her dad.

Cute pictures, as always. It looks like you guys had a blast at Walmart. I love Presley's chipped fingernail polish. Who doesn't love bright red fingernail polish barely hanging on a little girl's fingernails?

Hi, Therese, I've never seen your blog before -- what a talented photographer you are! And, of course, your kids are adorable. That Presley's gonna be a heartbreaker.

I am so proud of Noah too, that is a hard concept to lear... SAVING. Little Presley is going to be photographer too? My friend heather (mildensteinds) and a 6 year old nephew that started a photo blog, it was cute!

Yeah, who's the stalker now?! I love these pictures, they're so artistic. Can I hire you to take some family photos? Seriously. In a couple of weeks when things bloom?

P. is a great modeling coach. She sure knows how to capture emotion.

Shout out to Christine - it's so fun to see friends from different places crossing paths!
