Mormon night at FenwayWe got discounted tickets to a Red Sox game on Saturday night through our Church. Josh invited his whole lab and his Uncle Mike and fam. We had sooo much fun. The kids got loaded up on Fenway franks and cotton candy. Noah sang along during the 7th inning stretch to "take me out to the ball game"... A perfect ending to an awesome summer.
Seeing old Friends and making new ones.
Amy(Gueck) Webb was in town and I found out that someone in my ward was a friend of hers as well. We all hung out and it was fun to see all the ways we were connected in the past, reminisce, and laugh about mommy stories and silly college drama.
Birthday Presents
Noah and PK were invited to a birthday party. I love picking out the present and wrapping it all cute. I am slowly building up a wrapping paper collection:).
The fam
Charleston Chew is laughing and smiling now. It keeps us all entertained. Check out that hair!
My kids' buddies
I hear sounds like "Rangers, power up!" and "with the power of the tiger, I am the red ranger" ringing through my halls. The little kid giggles and whipers are so cute. Mind you, all these sounds are much more appreciated now that I have discovered that if I let Charlie nap in my room he doesn't wake up at every loud noise. Ah ha...

my babe and me
I wanted to take pictures of Josh and Charlie this afternoon in their church clothes, but Josh wasn't interested in having the camera in his face. As a negotiation he said he would take some shots of Charlie and I. Now I'm so glad because I hardly have any shots with Charlie.
We had such a great weekend. Mainly because we spent all afternoon on Saturday at the beach. It was so fun! I love the beach with a passion. The water was actually warm too. When high tide came, the waves rushed onto the softer sand and I could've stayed in the water with the kiddos till dark it was so pleasant.

Chaz
I had to add some new pictures of the "Chuck Wagon." We are coming up with all sorts of nick names for Prince Charles. Noah likes Char Char as in Char Char Binks. As long as we stay completely away from the name "Chuckie". I will be happy. I don't want to associate my child with a terrifying, demented, red headed doll!
Look at this big guy! He's seven weeks old now. My how time flies. I am squeezing him into his 0-3 month onsies and he is already in the size 2 diapers. I am seeing a lot of Presley in his looks and lots of Noah in his actions! Uh oh... I'll be really busy in the next three years. Hold my calls.

Noah Stories
On Sunday I substitute taught Noah's class at church. Lots of people are out of town right now so it was just Noah and two other little boys. I got to witness Noah's little hijinks in Sunday school and I wasn't sure if I should bust up laughing or crack down on the discipline. The primary leader was showing the kids a picture of Jesus and the sacrament. In the picture there was a golden cup. Noah raised his hand and told everybody about how there was a cup like that in Indianna Jones! All the male leaders in the room couldn't hold back the laughter:) Prior to that, Noah brought home this drawing from his church class:
Not a bad drawing, but I am not sure if this is a picture portraying the statement above! Instead I think he was drawing this:
He also learned about reverence one Sunday. He told me, "I don't like being reverent, it means you have to just sit and STARE!" This kid sure loves action. Not so into the just sitting thing.

Then there's this guy...
In an effort to stop time, I am taking a million pictures of little Charlie. He may not be a newborn forever but at least we can enjoy his tininess forever through some pictures. He's starting to fit in the 0-3 mos. clothes! He also deserves a standing ovation for sleeping practically through the night last night. It was amazing to open my eyes and see a little daylight coming through the windows when I pulled the little tyke in bed with us.

Uno
above 1 month, below 5 days old
above 1 month and below 5 days old
We went to the pediatrician yesterday and this little guy is now in double digits for weight at a whopping 10 pounds and 13.6 ounces. I can't believe Josh weighed just a few ounces less than that at birth! Charlie is doing great. I only had to give him formula for two nights. He has gained practically a pound a week so he's definitely getting plenty to eat. I can't believe how much changes just in the first month. He's getting a little Budha belly and those rubber band tied wrists. His scrawny little thighs are getting plump rolls. Also he is losing his dark baby hair and getting chubby cheeks and a double chin. Happy one month little dude. Don't grow up too fast!

Getting Ready for SCHOOL!
I can't believe we are sending two kids off to school this fall! Presley got into a Montessori preschool and Noah is starting Kindergarten. They are both thrilled. Presley thinks that when we say preschool, we are saying "pink school". Even better!
We got a friends and family discount over the weekend for Gap/Old Navy, etc. from Linda Marie and we were able to save mucho on school clothes for the kiddos. Thanks so much LMB!
