New Hat

Our friend, Aimee made Charlie the cutest little hat. It was perfect to keep him warm in the arctic AC at church the other day. I am so impressed with the knitting skills of others. I totally stink at that kind of thing.

Our little guy is growing so fast. Already three and a half weeks old!

Life Savers

I have to do a shout out to all my wonderful friends from church who have brought us dinner for the past week since Charlie was born! I feel so loved. I told the RS president that we didn't need meals and she said, but we want to do this for you. Now I am so glad that we got the meals. Not only have they been delicious and fun, but it has really helped so much to feel that support and to not have to worry about cooking while I am still trying to figure out how to juggle three kiddos. Thanks again everyone. The above meal was from my neighbor, Paige, warm tortillas with a chicken feta salad and yummy avacado cilantro dressing. We are so blessed.

First Family Picture

It has been a crazy week and a half. We had a baby, had two birthday parties, went to 3 full hours of church, went to the kid's camp party, hung out in Harvard Square, went to the beach, and walked over five miles. It has been a blast! My mom in law TK has been in town and we just had our sad goodbyes this morning. Now I'm left to figure out how am I going to do this three kids thing without an extra set of hands around to help. Thanks TK for all that you did for us. We'll miss you terribly!

Big Sister

The baby is the most exciting thing in the world to Noah and Presley right now. They are constantly asking if they can hold the baby. Yesterday I put Charlie on PK's lap and he fell asleep there, so content. Presley loves being the big sister and tells everyone she sees about it.

Baby?

I am sooo ready to have a baby! So it's official. This little guy is NOT going to be a June bug. We will have three kids and a wedding anniversary all in the bless-ed month o' July! Josh and I were laughing last night as we asked eachother what the plans for our 6th anniversary are...We will be celebrating six whopping years this Thursday. Things are so crazy, neither of us even wants to think about anniversaries. I think we are just so anxious for the little dude to get here. The anticipation is almost painful!! Both Noah and Presley are all into the idea of prepping me for long nights on baby duty. They both got the flu over the weekend and haven't been sleeping too well. It has been a major heat/humid wave lately so that adds a bit to our night time fun. I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I think they may check to see if I'm dilated. Good time for Josh to babysit! I am pretty sure I WON'T be dilated or anything. I'm getting the feeling this little guy is happy where he is! Here are a couple of adjustments I've made to get ready for #3:

I filled up my diaper bag with the baby's first jammies, onesies, and diapers. I also threw in some wipes and my pj's for the hospital. I am so sad to kiss the tiny purse goodbye for a while!!! It will be nice to feel more prepared, though. I haven't had wipes in over a year and my kids always get food on their faces when we're out and about!

DIAPER TRASH!!! Eeeeek. Josh and I celebrated when we threw away our last diaper trash can. It was such a momentous experience. We discussed different options on how to do it better this go around and we both decided on a small trash can. I am willing to make more dumpster runs for the sake of not having a nasty, stinky trash can. A neighbor was moving and we scored this and a larger stainless steel trash can with lids. I don't know how all this free, cool stuff keeps falling into my lap for the baby. I went to a clothing exchange and got some of the cutest newborn jammies and shirts, FREE. I also got PK a pair of jelly shoes and cute gap sandals for church. Score! I have had it with flip flops on my kids! They aren't stying on and keep tripping them. I just have to find Noah some alternatives. Speaking of Noah, his birthday is coming up and I've been toying with the idea of getting him some Busted Tees. They just crack me up:

I may hold off for fall when school starts. Summer just trashes his clothes. I bought him a pack of Hanes t's to get him by for now. I'll be tie dying tomorrow for our weekly outing. TTFN!
